Cabbage stew/ sauce(fish)
Step1: Shred your cabbage,carrot scotch bonnet peppers, green bell pepper,onions and set aside.
Step 2: Wash and marinate the fish with little of some curry,thyme,oregano,salt and some seasoning ( it’s totally optional you Can skip the fish and make use of sausage or chicken whatever protein you choose.)
Step 3: Place your pan on the heat and pour your oil into the pan and allow to heat up put in your marinated fish and fry slightly debone the fish and scatter the fishes and set aside.
Step 4: On medium heat add your sliced onions into the hot oil used for frying the fish and sauté for 1minute grate in some ginger and 1 garlic clove sauté for another minute.
Step 5: Add your carrot and stir fry to take away the crunch from the carrots then add the scattered fish into the pan and stir for 1 minute.
Step 6: Add the diced green peppers and also fry for a minute add your spices like curry, oregano seasoning and salt to taste add a little of crayfish and black peppers.
Step 7: Now add the shredded cabbage and stir them all up together until it’s well incorporated leave for 2minute to simmer and turn off the heat and our cabbage sauce is ready to be served. Serve with rice or pasta….
2cups of cabbage
1 cup of carrots
4 scotch bonnet peppers
I large green bell pepper
I garlic cloves
I small ginger root
I medium size onion bulb
2 seasoning cubes
1 table spoon of crayfish
I teaspoon of black pepper.
Salt to taste.
